Spring 2005

I became a Registered Nurse in January 2001, after working nineteen and one
half years in the oil field. The desire to work in medicine had always been
with me, so when the opportunity to take an early retirement from Altura
arose, I took advantage of the situation. My interest in science and workingwith people found a perfect match in nursing.

I attended South Pains College and upon graduation found employment at Covenant Medical Center. The next three years were spent on E5/Neurology as a staff nurse. This allowed me to gain experience in taking care of multiple patients while learning from some very caring and knowledgeable nurses.

In January, 2004, I transferred to SICU where I am currently working as a
critical care nurse. I really enjoy working in ICU because of the
challenges of the unit and the friendships I have made.
Ronnie Bailey, RN.

Ronnie Bailey is a very hard working, energetic, and just plain fun to be
around. He is always willing to go the "second mile" for his patients or
his co-workers. He has a wonderful outlook on life and a sense of humor
that is contagious. He's one of a kind.
